Ironman success starts now . . .

Getting started can be the hardest part.

How do you start? When do you start? What do I do when I get started? All great questions!

As a seasoned triathlete (nice way of saying old -- I have raced for 40 years and well over 200 triathlons of all distances) I can tell you the longer runway you have to your "A" race the better prepared you CAN be. Ideally, I like a year but most of us don't have that luxury.

With the new year upon us the time to plan your 2023 season is now! Whether you've got an early season race or a late season race, the time to prepare is now.

Preparing early helps you in many ways including getting your body to adapt to the training build, building strength and agility and avoiding injury. Can you "participate" in a 70.3 or Ironman without a year of training? Of course. Will you preform at your best? Probably not.

Starting early also has other benefits such as helping you mentally. If you've prepared properly you will go into every race more confident. Starting early also helps you dial in your race effort. Many people go into races without a strategy and many times they don't perform optimally because they didn't have a race plan. Another good reason is to refine your equipment including your wetsuit, your bike and your running shoes.

Anyway, it's my strong opinion that you really can't start too early. Let us help you with a precision plan that will help you reach your goals.

Cheers!

Ron
